We (The Black Stuff) respect your right to privacy and are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our Users.  We adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) which govern the way we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of confidential information.

Collection of personal information

We will, from time to time, receive and store personal information you and the User (together and separately referred to in this Privacy Policy as you) enter onto our Site, provide to us directly or give to us in other forms.  This may include: names; dates of birth; job titles; contact information including addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and the like; information provided and enquiries made by or of you and the responses received/given through the Site; and any other information requested on our Site or otherwise required by us or provided by you.  We may collect additional information at other times, including but not limited to, when you provide feedback, when you provide information about your personal affairs, change your information or email preferences, provide financial or credit card information, or communicate with our customer support.

How we collect personal information

We collect personal information from you in a variety of ways, including when you interact with us electronically or in person and when you access our Site. We may receive personal information from third parties. If we do, we will protect it as set out in this Privacy Policy.

​Collection from third party operators

To facilitate the operation of the Site, Platform Operator performs automated information collection when integrating with third party services such as Google Accounts, LinkedIn, Google Drive and Dropbox. When logging in with Google Accounts or LinkedIn, Platform Operator will access your full name, email address and avatar image as provided with the account synchronisation process.  When synchronising files from Dropbox or Google Drive, Platform Operator will request read only access to your nominated account in order to facilitate the serving of files to contacts you nominate.  Additionally, Google Drive synchronisation will request full read, write and edit permissions to facilitate the export of native Google Documents (Sheets, Docs, Slides and Drawings) to contacts you nominate.

 

Use of your personal information

Personal information is only collected in situations where you have consented; where there is a legitimate interest to disclose the information and; where the disclosure of personal information is required for the fulfilment of our products or services to you.

​We may use personal information collected from you to provide you with information, updates and our services. We may also make you aware of new and additional products, services and opportunities available to you.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide services on our behalf. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. We take reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.

Grant Terms & Conditions

Grants are for supply of The Black Stuff and consultancy services in provision and application of The Black Stuff.

​

Grant amounts are our estimate of the value of goods and services that may be provided.

​

There is no cash alternative to the Grant offer.

​

Grants are conditional upon The Black Stuff being applied in the recommended rates and way.

​

The acceptance or rejection of any grant application is in the sole absolute discretion of The Black Stuff.

​

All recipients of grants warrant that they have public liability and all other mandated insurances.

​

Use and application of The Black Stuff is at the sole risk of the grant recipient.
